Watercolor & Acrylic Artist in Rockledge, Florida
Phyllis Shipley has been participating in juried art shows and festivals since the 1980's. The hundreds of shows, the thousands of miles have been exciting, rewarding and fulfilling. Also to be considered are the hundreds and hundreds of friends she has made, over the years, who have become collectors, admirers and even closer; as friends.
But, there comes a time when the physical requirements of setting up a tent and paintings and print bins and everything else; and being on your feet for eight to ten hours, not to mention driving several hours, becomes less exciting, and absolutly exhausting.
Factor this, along with the demands from galleries/studios for time and attention along with special customer and collectors and soon you realize that the days, the weeks, are not long enough to provide the attention they deserve.
So Phyllis has decided to focus on responding to her website requests, and to those successful galleries/studios she has agreement with, and with her links to collectors and associates, and friends. In addition, Phyllis will continue to utilize her home based gallery, and through her Facebook pages and emails, through telephone contacts and appointments.
So thanks to all for your attendance at so many shows and festivals, and thanks again for your continued interest in Phyllis Shipley Fine Art.
