Well, the Art Basel week is over and everyone is back focusing on new work and the southern show season. I know this for a fact and we are tightly scheduled until May. We had a great time during Art Basil Week and the volume of art was mindblowing. In fact the volume of good art was amazing. For those of you who have not experienced this week of art, let me tell you it is more than worth the trip. It lasts almost an entire week starting December 5 through the 10th. Usually the first few days are called VIP days and not open to the public. The best times are Friday through Sunday. Everything is open and crowded. There are something like 16 different shows, all excellent, all based in Miami or Miami Beach, running concurrently. Make reservations ahead of time and don't miss it next year.
