Yea, The Spring Season of fine art shows is over!!! The last one for Phyllis was the Shrimp Festival on Amelia Island on May 5 to May 7. It was a great show with lots going on. Phyllis won a merit award for her painting "Daybreak" plus lots of art found new homes. You can see "Daybreak" on the New Stuff page.
Now it is off for the Summer to relax, to paint, and to travel, travel, travel!
The plan is June in Tennessee, July in Vorginia, and August and September in Europe on a river cruise. Amsterdam, Cologne, Vienna, Budapest and Prague are just a few spots to be visited. It will be fun, fun and more fun, but wait; when can she paint? Stay tuned! Follow her on Facebook to find out.
Phyllis has started a venture with Ann McDonough at a new gallery in Windemere, Florida. Grand opening was on June 1st and was well attended. The gallery is called "The Art Gallery at Tranquiliti". Lets wish them well in this new venture.
House and Garden of the U.K., a division of Conte Nash, contacted Phyllis to feature her floral paintings in the Art Edit Summer Editions. An exciting new adventure!
